I stay on the "Sending to Printer" page and the coupon never prints, what do I do?
If you have multiple printers or have a fax machine connected it is most likely that a default printer has not been set. To assign a default printer, follow these steps:
- Click Start -> Control Panel - > Printers and Faxes. You should see your printers listed.
- Right click on the printer you wish to print from and select "Set as Default Printer."
If you have a default printer set and you still stay on "Sending to Printer" page, try to print the coupon again but with a different internet browser.
Why won't my coupons print?
If the Coupon Printer was installed properly, your operating system and browser are supported (check here to make sure), and you have not exceeded the coupon print limit, but you were still unable to print you coupon, check the following:
- Is your printer turned on? Make sure your printer is on and try printing the coupon again by clicking on the original coupon link.
- Is there sufficient paper? Double check your paper supply and try printing the coupon again by clicking on the original coupon link.
- Is the printer properly connected to your computer? Often the simplest explanation is a faulty connection Check the cable connection between your computer and your printer, and try printing the coupon again.
- Is your 'default' printer the one you are expecting to get your coupon on? If you have multiple printers connected to your computer (for example, as part of network), check to see if your current default printer is the printer where you expected to get your coupon print out. You can check the setting in your Control Panel/Printers and Faxes on Windows computers, an in your System Preferences/Print Fax on Mac computers.
- Are the status lights on the printer indicating problems? Often, if your printer is experiencing problems, an error message or indicator light may be flashing on your printer. Please refer to your owner's manual to fix the printer’s problem, and then try printing the coupon again.
- Are you printing to the right printer device setting? You may not print to fax machines or file-based print commands (e.g. Adobe Acrobat) or other programs that create PDFs or image file. Please check your printer setting to make sure your default printer is a regular printer. I you have a multi-function printer (fax, copy, print), please make sure that the 'Printer' is set as the default function on your computer.
If you are still having issues, try to print the coupon again but with a different internet browser.
Why am I prompted to install the Coupon Printer repeatedly?
If you are using Internet Explorer, your Coupon Printer may have been disabled. Please follow these steps to print your coupon:
- Open your Internet Explorer Browser.
- Go to Tools -> Manage Add-ons -> Enable/Disable Add-ons.
- In the drop down menu select "Add-ons previously used by Internet Explorer".
- Look for "Cpbrkpie Control" under the Name column.
- "Enable" it if it is marked as "Disabled".
- Restart Internet Explorer and print your coupons.
Why does my computer not recognize that the Coupon Printer is installed?
If you are using Internet Explorer, the ActiveX control for the Coupon Printer may have been disabled during installation.
- Please look for the ActiveX bar (also called the Windows Information Bar) which may appear across the top of the web page.
- The Windows Information Bar may show this message: "The previous webpage might require the following add-on: 'Couponprinter.ocx' from 'Coupons Inc.". Click here to allow it to run..."
- Click on the Windows Informtation Bar and select "Install ActiveX". This will allow the Coupon Printer in Internet Explorer to print coupons.
Not all the offers I selected to print came out
Some offers may not be available for you to print even though you were able to select them. In that case, there will be a message after the printing screen that tells you if an offer didn't print for this reason, usually because it reached a print limit. If there was no message like this, then another possibility is that the coupon files exceeded the amount of processing memory you have available. Try printing fewer coupons at a time.
Why won't my coupons print from work or the public library?
If you are trying to print coupons at work, the library, an Internet cafe or University, you may not have administrative permissions required to download and install programs onto the computer you are using. This may be true even if you've downloaded and installed other files or programs onto this computer. If you are unable to print coupons from a shared computing environment, please contact your system administrator for more information. If you have a home computer, you may find it easier to access and print our coupons there.
I get an error message regarding the "default printer"
Check to make sure that your printer is on and the cable is not loose. You may also get this error if your printer is set at low-resolution or draft mode. You have to be able to print at a resolution of 300-dpi in order for the coupons to be legible enough to scan at the store. And you cannot print to PDF or any other kind of electronic file format.
If this isn’t the case and you have an older computer, you may not have enough processing memory to produce our hi-resolution coupons.
I get the error message "Browser is not supported."

I had a problem with my printer, can you reactivate these coupons for me?
The coupon manufacturers enforce strict limits on the number of times a coupon can be printed (regardless of whether it actually printed or not) and we are unable to reset them at this time. You can try printing the coupons on a different computer or have a friend do it for you. You can also try printing the coupons again at the beginning of the month when the limits are reset. We apologize for any inconvenience.
