Why do I now need a verification code to print some grocery coupons?
One of our larger coupon partners, Coupons.com, recently upgraded their printing process to offer a more secure experience and make their coupons more accessible, regardless of device. That said, they are in the process of completely getting rid of the coupon printing software download, instead relying on a SMS text verification for printing they are calling "PrintID" and are currently in the process of getting everyone switched over.
The PrintID process requires that you go through a one-time verification (Re-verification can occur if you use a different browser or device. It can also occur if you browse using an incognito window or if you clear your cookies) where you input your cell phone number and receive a text message with a verification code. After you enter that code, your coupons should print just as they did before. Learn more on the PrintID process an requirements here.
If you don't have texting capabilities or a cell phone for the PrintID process, you can still verify through an alternate Phone Call verification.
